A Prayer for Each New Morning

Father God, You are gracious and loving. You are holy, You are mighty, and You alone are worthy of praise. You have awoken me to another beautiful day and faithfully restored my soul within me.

Let Your will be done, as Heaven and Earth are in Your control and my time is in Your hands.

You have given me today all that I need and more. Give me grace to forgive others, as You have so graciously forgiven me.

Keep my mind and heart fixed eternally on You, so as not to be led astray by the evil in this world, and deliver me, O God, from such evil, for only You are able to redeem the world.

You will forever be my all-powerful, all-knowing, omnipresent and glorious Father God.
