Truth and Beauty - Behind the New Name

Hi readers,

Many of you know this blog as Glances at Grace: Finding Joy and Purpose in Each New Day God Gives You. While this name was great for this blog at the time, things have changed a bit since I created it nearly ten months ago.

This name change has been in the works for a while, ever since I realized God is calling me to branch out and write articles that are more intellectual and contemplative, rather than just devotionals. But don’t worry, there will be more of those as well! I wrestled with what to call it for the longest time, and suddenly landed on this. Truth and Beauty will focus on all that is true, good, and beautiful, and point everything back to God, who created it all.

God's Word says in Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, or anything worthy of praise, think about these things."

I am so excited about this change and can’t wait to see how God uses this blog both in my life and in yours.

Here’s a quick announcement about the upcoming series’ that I can’t wait to share: First, coming hopefully in May, a series about the importance of a Christian worldview, specifically in education. And this fall, a series about how the way we worship matters.
